Topics: Steering Committee Meeting

9/30/2008 Speaker: Nei Ketzler Company:

Who are the members of the mysterious Steering Committee? They are you! Come on out and help us plan for future meetings. We want your thoughts, ideas, and solutions. Come and participate in the planning process. Help us keep the South Suburban Computer Club at the top of its form. We’re always looking for fresh ideas and better ways to serve the needs of our members. Help us make that happen.

Our goal this year is to increase our C.C.S. membership substantially. We need your help to tell your friends and the public about our organization.

Topics: Using Adobe Captivate to Create an Interactive Presentation

1/24/2008 Speaker: Don Grady Company:
Don Grady will demonstrate how easy it is to develop an interactive presentation using Adobe Captivate. He will build a short segment with the active participation of the attendees at the meeting.

With a couple of volunteers from the audience, he will show us how much fun it is to design, develop and publish a Flash movie, recording content created by the volunteers.

Don is the Executive Director of Academic Outreach, and oversees the efforts of two Centers at National-Louis University: The Center for Online Learning and the Center for Continuing Education.

Captivate is one of the tools used at National-Louis to deliver interactive learning both in the classroom and online.
