The Northwest Suburban Computer Club, a chapter of The Chicago Computer Society presents “Alternatives to Windows Updates and Extended open forum”, information about what to use for updates instead of having Microsoft push ‘spyware’ onto your computer.
The Northwest Suburban Computer Club (NSCC), a chapter of Chicago Computer Society (CCS) presents a presentation on the topic, “Alternatives to Windows Updates and Extended open forum” on Thursday, July 20th , 7:00 pm at Schaumburg Public Library, 130 S. Roselle, Schaumburg; public invited; free. Edward Keating, NSCC Coordinator, will discuss upcoming events of CCS itself and will also discuss activities for Northwest Suburban Computer Club. Topics for upcoming meetings will be discussed as well as meeting times for the rest of the year. For information about users’ computer club and Special Interest groups (locations, meetings), visit CCS website www.ccs.org or call Ed Keating at (847) 438-0027 The Chicago Computer Society is a non-profit educational personal computer users’ group. Monthly meetings are open to general public and are held all-round Chicago and suburban areas. CCS is largest desktop computer users’ group in Chicagoland area and provides information to computer users of all ages. Group meetings hold “Open Forum” where users can get answers to their computer-related questions, and then followed by meeting’s speaker presentation. Group members receive access to an electronic copy of “HARD-COPY”, CCS bi-monthly award-winning journal.
