Topics: Tips and Tricks of the Masters:

6/21/1999 Speaker: Company:
After ten months of programs, it is appropriate to convene a discussion of tips and tricks of the masters. The masters, in this case, are not only the selected panel of speakers, but also those in the audience who, very often, have the best tips and tricks to suggest.

Topics: Document Assembly and Legal Forms Software:

5/17/1999 Speaker: Company:
What is document assembly? Can't you use your word processing software to create a document assembly capability? What is HotDocs and are there other programs that also do document assembly? What is Acrobat? What commercial products are there for text-based documents and court forms, to complete these forms via document assembly techniques? Ilforms, IICLE forms and other pre-coded legal-specific products will be discussed and some demonstrated.

Topics: Graphics, In and Out of Court, and Video Conferencing:

4/19/1999 Speaker: Company:
How can graphics be used in court and out of court? How are these graphics created? Are there different kinds of graphics? Is video conferencing viable and affordable? What options exist for lawyers to use video conferencing now? Discussion and demonstration of PowerPoint software.

Topics: Litigation Support Software - Comparisons:

3/15/1999 Speaker: Company:
What products are available? What are they used for? Can trial lawyers really learn to use these products? Comparisons of some of the leading products on the market. Discussion of licensing fees and costs, replication, sharing of information. We will also have a discussion and presentation of "realtime" court reporting and discuss the implications of this technology.

Topics: The Internet:

2/15/1999 Speaker: Company:
What it is. Why it is useful. The basics of accessing the Internet. Should you create your own home page - and if so, how do you go about doing that.
Alternatives to your setting up your own home page. Demonstrations on the Internet will take place.
