2001—Yahoo! Groups—Photos, Files, and PollsHarold Moore continues his demonstration of the photo features of Yahoo! Groups. He will also discuss techniques for dealing with files loaded at Yahoo! Groups. He will then finish up with a very practical demonstration of the polling feature of Yahoo! Groups and an invitation for all members to make their preferences known. The results of the poll will determine the course discussion for the remaining meetings this year.

This meeting is for CCS members and non-members alike. A person doesn’t have to be a member of CCS to use Yahoo! Groups. Thousands of groups exist on Yahoo! Groups and you can join as many as you like—or start your own.

Tonight Joe will demonstrate how to take a Word document and turn it into an HTML file. By converting a document to HTML, you can now send this as an email attachment with formatting and special features intact. Even if the person at the other end doesn’t have MS Word they will be able to view the document with their browser.
