The Chicago Computer Society -- Users Helping Users

1995 Midwest Regional Conference

The Chicago Computer Society was proud to host the 1995 Association of Personal Computer User Groups (APCUG) Midwest Regional Conference August 4-6 in Oak Brook, Illinois, a suburb west of Chicago.

The regional conference is a leadership training workshop with attendance limited to personal computer user group presidents, editors, directors, and officers. No registration or conference fees are charged, though registrants pay their own housing and transportation costs. Facility, meal costs, and other major funding are provided by contributions from software and hardware companies, including IBM, Lotus, Microsoft, Borland, Intuit, and others. Many of these companies contribute products as well, to be given as attendance awards.
